MYSTICISM, THE BIRD, THE WATCHER, THE PHONIX

Picture
The Ancient teachings all referred to a ‘bird-like’ figure as an archetype.
In Hindu, it is Vishnu or Garuda;
In Ancient Egypt, it was Horus or the ‘Eye of Horus’
In Alchemy, it is the Phoenix – which is related to purification and wisdom through the application of ’The Will’.

This is all in reference to the ability of the great birds to hover over the waters of creation giving them a ‘birds eye view’ of conceptual reality and using the single eye (the third eye of intuition) to strike at its prey (which is representative of the one pointed focus towards it’s desire – in our case,
our desire is ’En-Light-Ment’).

This is a direct reference to the watcher that lays dormant in most until the Desire and Will to awaken has commenced and a higher sole perspective is heard or felt in each individual to take a step towards
the path of ‘Know Thyself’.

THE DIFFERANT STAGES OF MEDITATION:

Step 1. Relaxation / Guided meditation:
–  Definition:  Anything that stills the mind from the Beta brain wave frequency to the Alpha brain wave frequency of mind is relaxation meditation. This is a state of relaxation.
– Purpose:  To calm and relax the mind into an Alpha brain wave frequency to pave the way to the first step towards deeper meditation.
–  Example:  You tube link to example, click here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOZA2ani1lA  and https://youtu.be/NPVX75VIpqg
Step 2. Mindfulness / Vipashna / Silent meditation:
– Definition: Relaxed stillness in silence where one watches the thoughts within mind without labelling and conceptualising into duality – i.e: right and wrong / good and bad / black and
white etc.
This is the first stage of the development of ‘Discipline’ and ‘The Will’ of ‘The Watcher’.
–  Purpose:  Create less reaction and attachment in life (to a degree).
–  Example:  Take yourself to a quiet, still and relaxing place where you can close your eyes, deeply relax without to much external interruption and sitting in silence with your eyes  closed – watch you thoughts. Imaging your thoughts are like clouds passing by in a deep blue sky, let them pass, don’t conceptualise. (Conceptualise means: Don’t label or  identify your thoughts – just let them pass)
Step 3. The Watcher Meditation:
–  Definition: Only a limited definition will be shared here.
‘The Watcher Meditation” is Alchemy and the ability to have Self Mastery in life and spirituality through meditative practices.
‘True meditation’a is the development of Intuition, Mastery, ‘Intelligence Of Will’ towards conscious evolution, Distilling of the Mind, mastery of the emotions, accessing Karmic traits deep
within the sub-conscious mind, and embodying the art of transmutation through imprinting virtuous concepts.
 – Purpose: The purpose of ‘The Great Work’ is to ‘Know thy true self’  through embodying the mastery in life, mind and leading to greater freedom, and more happiness,
connecting one self with the intelligence of will, and ultimately soul fusion.
– Examples: Experience taught and given at our retreats only.
